Bulova watches, a subsidiary of Citizen, was founded by Bohemian immigrant Joseph Bulova in 1875 New York City. Clever marketing strategies including the sponsorship of Charles Lindbergh and the world’s first television advertisement in 1941 propelled Bulova into the public spotlight as an innovative, distinctive watch-maker – traits that have remained ever since. They produced the first electric watch - the Accutron – and Bulova watches were also carried to the moon aboard Apollo 15’s mission in 1971 - truly out of this world. Citizen bought Bulova watches in 2008, together making up the world’s largest watchmaker. Bulova is bound by quality craftsmanship; perfecting efficient and precise timepieces defined by use of classy materials and design, replicated by another innovative first – the implementation of curved chronograph movement in 2016. Bulova cater for men’s and woman’s needs.
